UNNATURAL DISASTER?

Maybe you missed this on CCN last night, but something's going on in San Clemente. A tornado in California? Some sort of suicide bomber attack alá the streets of Baddad? Is global warming finally doing us in? Hell no, it's something that's become the talk of our San Clemente neighbors. The Chapman's house is comin' down!!

As promised, here's a batch of assorted pics from yesterday (taken by our ace photog Gina), hot off the press. Rather than me boring you with my long-winded rants, I figure we'd let the pics of death and destruction speak for themselves. How lucky can a person be?

This is was once one of the holiest brooms in the house. Hopefully someone salvaged the toilet to use as a planter?

An ocean-view and a dumpster. This is what we paid the big-bucks for. Only in America!!

The remaining back wall to our garage and guest house is not long for the world. If you look real closely, you might catch a glimpse of the fleeing terrorist bastard!!

Our old front door is now at the back of the property? Shit!! Maybe we should take another look at those plans!!

See, some things do run like clockwork. Regardless of the work to be done, there's always time for a break!!

Wow!! We use to live in this dump?

As amazing as this may sound with all of this robust physical progress that's going on, the bank has still been unable to get their act together. Sean from Fidelity Trust called yesterday and ask where the $444,000 check from us was that's needed to close the loan. I told him we gave this to them when we signed the docs on Thursday (last week!!). He then found it.

All of the funding has yet to be recorded. We've been told, maybe later today. We can hardley contain ourselves. Once we get word that everything is in place and had been "recorded", we can begin demolition.

Oops, too late!!

Thats so strange terrorists targeted your house of all the possible military targets. Is this what the news reports mean when they say, "terrorists may strike 'soft' targets?" Anyway, you can't blame the loan guy for try to pull the old "I need your payment, oh wait, it's right here in my back pocket" trick. Keep the updates comin'!
